I graduated from Austin Peay State University with a Bachelors in Psychology and a Minor in African-American Studies. I received my Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, Mental Health Service Provider, and Approved Supervisor in the state of Tennessee. I also hold LPCC Licenses in Kentucky and Idaho. I am a Nationally Certified Counselor with the National Board of Certified Counselors, and I am a Certified EMDR Therapist and EMDRIA approved consultant. I have served clinicians as a coach and have facilitated EMDR trainings since 2020. I am a Therapreneur as well as CEO and founder of Spring Forth Counseling.
My professional experience includes working in various clinical settings including group practice, private practice, community mental health settings, mobile crisis departments, military installations, and school settings. I also enjoy supporting various companies by providing psychoeducation and support via staff development and speaking engagements. I am a self-published author of the self-care workbook “Take the Struggle Out of Self-care: Six Weeks to Create Your Self-care Strategy.”
